Keeping Your Roof In Top Condition

Roofs protect you and your family from the elements. With regular inspections, you can catch small problems before they turn into big problems. Here are a few maintenance measures you can take to help prevent problems from occurring:

Clean all debris from the surface of the roofs, behind air conditioning units, pipes and pitch pans. Collecting leaves have a tendency to hold water expediting roof deterioration.
Trim all trees and branches near the roof to create a fire gap and to make it harder for rodents to access your home.
Remove debris from gutter for adequate water drainage.
Trim overhanging tree branches. Vines often grow under shingles and cause damage if undetected.
